At Fox & Acorn Child Therapy in Austin, TX, I provide compassionate, integrative care for children and families through play therapy, family therapy, and nature-based walk-and-talk sessions. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in connection, creativity, and honors each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.

 

As a Syrian therapist, I bring a deeply held commitment to cultural humility and inclusive, identity-affirming care. I honor the diverse cultural backgrounds, values, and family systems of the children and parents I work with, and hold space for each story with warmth and curiosity.

 

I believe that for a child to feel safe, they must first feel seen—and being seen starts with being supported in a space that truly understands and respects who they are. Using a blend of child-centered play therapy, systems-informed family therapy, and outdoor nature work, I help children build emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and feel more at ease in their relationships.​
